Ms. Donna
Hi, I'm Ms.
Donna. I am a 4th Degree Black Belt in the Kenpo Karate system. I have been studying for 12 years and I am the owner of the
Elicker Kenpo Karate Academy. I have made it my goal to teach and train anyone willing to learn Kenpo while keeping our school
family oriented. I have been a school bus driver for 11 years too. I am the mother of 3 children and the grandmother of 1.
I studied under Gary Ronemus before opening my own school. We strive for one goal - to be the best we can be in the short
time God has given us on this earth.

Ms. Kelly
I'm Ms.
Kelly, a home school mom and blessed to help manage the Elicker Kenpo Studio. I joined my kids because of the family discount
and now years later, I am honored to say, I am studying for my black belt. Kenpo is so much more than techniques and forms
- there's years of mental stimulation. I find the challenges so worth it.

Miss Nicole My name is Nikki, Miss Nicole, or Ms. Donna's
daughter. I have been studying Kenpo for 12 years now, and I am a second degree black belt. I enjoy everything about
martial arts, and I also train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Coach George McGinnis. Other than martial arts, I am an avid field
hockey player, sprinter, pianist, and singer. To me, Kenpo is a family thing. Both my mom and dad take lessons, along with
my 2 brothers, my sister-in-law, my boyfriend, and my nephew. I see Kenpo as an art that I can never give up.

Miss Alyx
My name
is Alyx Mervine, and I am a second degree black belt here at the Academy. I've been taking Kenpo since 2004. While I am
often at Cedarville University in Ohio (I am an accounting and marketing major), I teach a Kenpo club out there with about
60 members. I look forward to continuing studying Kenpo in the years to come, and I am very thankful for all of my instructors
and students who have helped me grow into who I am today.

Mr. Warren Hi! My name is Warren
Meyers. I am currently a first degree black belt, with many thanks to Miss Donna. When I first started, I was interested only
in self defense; however, as each class progressed, my desire to achieve more became greater (and the people in the classes
were great!). I currently work for a school district. I am happily married to my wife, Julie (of 25 years). We enjoy going
to car shows, concerts, and baseball games. We especially love to travel together.

Mr. Miller
My name is Yuhri Miller. I have studied American Kenpo since
1994 and earned my black belt in 1997 under the tutelage of Mr. Gary Ronemus. I have attended seminars with Mr. Huk
Planas, and Mr. Joe Palanzo. I took a long hiatus in which I worked on my music skills by touring, recording, and teaching
saxophone but I have returned to continue my study of American Kenpo with Miss Donna Elicker. I love to teach and impart
knowledge to our great students and continually learn for my own growth in Kenpo.

Mr. Josh
My karate journey
began when I was 12 years old. My dad and brother were taking karate for a number of years already, and when my mom
and I started attending, it became a family event. We contiunued studying 4-5 days per week until I was 14 years old. At 14
years old I got my first job and my priorities switched. Thus began my 6 year hiatus from karate. Not long after I stopped
taking karate classes, the studio closed and the rest of my family stopped as well. About 6 years later, I started getting
the motivation to rekindle my training. It was a long and stressful road, trying to relearn everything to get back to where
I was. When I look back I wish I had never gave it up. But my 6 year gap made me more respectful of my art and myself. It
taught me more then the training ever could. On a final thought, karate is so much more than self-defense. It also teaches
you about confidence, humility, respect, leadership, and motitavtion. The good part with the journey in karate is that it
never ends.

Nicole's & Isaac's father. I started my Kenpo journey with Ms. Donna at Gary Ronemus studios at Greensprings Plaza.
I studied under Ms. Donna & Mr. Tim MacCalmont. Going through to finishing, but not testing to green belt. I cam back
to Kenpo with Ms. Donna when she opened her own school at out present location. I hope to continue my journey as long as I
am physically able. Kenpo is an art that I truly enjoy doing. I have made some really good friends while here at our school.
I enjoy working with the children and answering their questions. My hope is to see all of our students excel in their studies,
to grow as individuals and become upstanding young adults.
